TNS Fall 2018 Graduation

The News School holds three graduation every year  to celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates. Interns that complete our Fall 2018 program will each receive a certificate of completion. In addition, graduates that score 70 and above on our comprehensive citizen journalism exam will receive a press pass and membership into our team of news publications. As TNS journalist, graduates are granted special privilege. These press passes indicate that the bearer is a practicing journalist. The nature of the benefits is determined by the level or achievement accomplished. There are three major categories by which press passes are issued: news organizations, law-enforcement agencies, and event organizers (usually for a specific single affair like a corporate press conference). Each type of card grants different authorizations, thus it is often necessary or desirable for reporters to hold multiple press passes simultaneously.
